Here’s what the current night sky landscape looks like…

Mars to Saturn… a show for sure!

Out on the scope…

As simple as a photo of another planet gets… EAA (Electronically Assisted Astrophotography)

One single frame from my test. I’ve been building out an EAA rig on the cheap. No tracking, just a simple Raspberry Pi with a fresh install of raspbian + astroberry and firecapture. Here’s the result, well below that is…

Juptier Flyby…

No Description

For weeks, I’ve been out on my telescopes nightly. Centering myself in the universe. Silly maybe to some, but I find immense joy capturing the photons of visible stars…. some dying, some giving life I’m sure.

Regardless, the goal is to share with you, so take a look at the beauty that is Jupiter. I’m providing links to the telescope, mount, and camera in case anyone is interested in recreating this process.

The RP3b+ and Astroberry are a bit technical so I’ll steer you to the Raspberry Pi development home and the GIT for the Astroberry distro.

Clear skies…

Oh- and the technical stuff…
